Imagine being surrounded by several miles of pine trees. Nothing but acres upon acres of Pitch Pine, cedar, and countless species of low scrub bushes and shrubs. Less Known Pines wants to give insights on these vast forests in southern New Jersey.
Countless state forests and land preserves are present here, within the pinelands. Many of them extend to thousands upon thousands of acres. Some even cover hundreds of square miles. You will find photos with descriptions that reveal the pines without giving away the location of the areas. It is up to you to figure out the locations. For now, it remains a mystery.
