Michael Huber Preserve
An area where the pine barrens begins to gradually fade out. More hardwood forests begin to appear to where it may seem much different from the rest of the pinelands. A bumpy area with thick muck dirt that acts as quicksand. While much smaller than many other preserves and state forests in the, its terrain is also unique to much of the pinelands. With plenty of pitch pine, along with the common inkberries, a high concentration of hardwood and black gum is found here.
